Paula Childs

Paula spent her childhood roaming the rocky seashore and wild woodlands of Rhode Island where her love of nature and exploring took her on many adventures. She took classes at the Rhode Island School of Design before heading to college where she received her degree in journalism. After a long career as a broadcast news journalist and then adjunct professor, Paula returned to the art world and has been painting almost daily ever since. She has studied with artists Margaret McWethy and John Clayton of the Cape School of Art in Provincetown. Paula loves to paint outdoors in the Impressionist style as well as still life and pet portraits. She also sells work on commission.
